Check Status of Aadhar Card Enrolment Online



The new identification proof for the citizens of India is an Aadhar card. It is a 12 digit alphanumeric unique identification number that is issued by the government of India despite of any caste or religion. Every citizen must get an Aadhar card for his or her identification. It can be issued for any person of any age be it a newly born child, a teenager or an adult. The citizen of India holds the responsibility of getting an Aadhar card for himself or herself and further check Aadhar status once it is applied. There are various methods for Aadhar card status check online are listed below:-

After one submits the form for getting an Aadhar card, the person receives a 14 digit number which is referred as enrollment ID. This enrollment also has the date and time when the form was submitted

Open the official website for checking the Aadhar status and enter the 14 digit unique enrolment number in the designated box along with the date and time specified.

Select the Submit button. After this, a new page appears which displays the current status of Aadhar card.

After one checks Aadhar status and it may take a few days to receive the Aadhar card through Indian Post but still they can get the print out of the Aadhar card from the website till they receive their actual Aadhar card. It may take 10 to 15 days to receive the Aadhar card after it has been confirmed on the official website.

The basic requirement for Aadhar card status check online comprises of having the enrolment slip with the enrolment number that is a 14 digit number, date and time when the Aadhar card application was submitted. This enrollment number must be preserved by the applicant until they have received there Aadhar card. The applicant also check the status of their Aadhar application by specifying the Enrolment ID as displayed on the Enrolment slip issued.

In case, one loses their enrolment slip then it would be not very easy to check the status of Aadhar card but the only recommendation is that one can write a mail to help@uidai.gov.in or even can contact the customer care service by dialing their toll free number 1800-300-1947. But it is a very tedious job to get the information regarding the lost enrolment slip since there is no other way to check the status of the applied Aadhar card application.
