Know Your Aadhar Card Status Via Mobile

The status of the Aadhaar can be sent to the mobile through SMS if in case candidate do not have personal computer or laptop or do not have connection of internet. To get an Aadhaar status related SMS, one should only have to sent a SMS after which candidate will get a SMS related to the status of the Aadhaar on his or her mobile number as a reply. For this SMS, a standard SMS charge will be paid by you but the service is totally free. To get this status for Aadhaar card, candidate must have enrollment number. This SMS will provide only information related to current status of Aadhaar not any other more information. To send an SMS, the mobile number should be registered. The mobile number of the candidate must be the same as that was registered at enrollment time. If the Aadhaar number of candidate gets activated then it should be sent to the candidate through SMS and if not generated then current status of the Aadhaar will be sent to the mobile number that is registered. To check the status of Aadhaar number by SMS on mobile number, there is procedure given below:

 UID STATUS <14 data-blogger-escaped-digit="" data-blogger-escaped-eid=""> and send it to 51969

For example, if my enrollment number is 1001/15161/01426, then you have to send UID STATUS 10011516101426 to 51969  

Note: As shown above, the slashes should be removed from enrollment number.
