Re Enrolment of Aadhar Card
Aadhar Card being the Unique Identification
record for every Indian, UIDAI has been doing an aggressive effort to complete
the registration and issue of Aadhar numbers to everyone in the country.
However, there are omissions and
commissions in the registration process and one who watches the status of
Aadhar registration process in the net are likely to see three kinds of status
information such as registration is rejected, registration not found and the
registration cannot be processed due to technical reasons. In all these cases,
one should re-register for aadhar number allotment.
There is however no need for one who had
given one’s bio metric details to National Population Register, one need not give
again details for aadhar registration. All the others who see their status as
‘cannot be processed due to technical reasons’ must enrol once again.
The reason for this status of this
registration for a second time lies in the collected data missing from the
records or the data preserved is in a condition that they cannot be used due to
encryption errors.
According to the present statistics, there
are 1.67 crores of people living in Delhi, of whom 1.37 crores have enrolled
for Aadhar. The Government is also very serious about implementing the Aadhar
project, for instance, the Delhi Government has already made Aadhar card
compulsory for one to avail services in about 20 registration processes, which
include property registration and marriage registration.
Who Has to Enrol Again?
Those who are already enrolled, but have
not received their Aadhar numbers yet, should look at the Status in the Net,
where they will find the status classified in any one of the following reasons:
1.
The registration is rejected
2.
The registration is not found
3.
The registration cannot be
processed due to technical reasons.
In all the above three categories, if one
had already done the registration before April 2012, then one should re-enrol
for allotment of Aadhar number.
