Haryana Govt launches “introduces and verifiers” For Aadhar Cards

Haryana Govt launches “introduces and verifiers” so that everyone in state can have Aadhar Cards
Haryana government started a new policy known as “introducers and verifiers” so that maximum number of people can have their Aadhar cards. The main motive behind it is to target and enroll those people who are not having any proof of address (PoA) or proof of identity (PoI). On May 16, State govt issued these orders and ensures it to get effected till last week.

These orders ensures that introduces will help those residents who are not having any PoA, or PoI and Verifiers will help in verifying documents (PoA, PoI, Date of birth) which are given by the citizens at the enrollment time. This will help those citizens to get their Aadhar Cards.
According to the state registrar, Nambardars and Sarphanchs are going to be introducers and patwaris and gram sachivs to verifiers in rural areas whereas in urban areas introducers are municipal councilors and Government School teachers of either State or Central .i.e. class C and all employees above this grade to be verifiers.

Government also ensures that anyone who wants to be introducer or verifier can apply to their concerned area Deputy Commissioner. After a good scrutiny of the concerned applications, The Deputy Commissioner will forward names to State Registrar who is going to notify each and every person by name.

Till date, around 37% of Haryana People are enrolled for their Aadhar issued by UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India).

For assisting this work, Haryana Government chooses four agencies. The main motto of these agencies is to begin enrolments from 1st June at 17 districts in camp mode. All the 17 Deputy Commissioner are going to give sufficient space at e-disha centers or any some other adequate place for setting permanent enrolment centers to the agencies so that maximum public can reach.

For getting maximum enrollment, Haryana government will soon launch an Aadhar card media campaign Mr. Krishna Mohan who is Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner (Revenue and Disaster Management-cum-Registrar UID) said that “By the end of this financial year, we hope to enroll each and every state resident for Aadhar card by the end of this financial year".
